kindness
I was on my way back to KL from Penang yesterday when I was looking very sad and miserable cuz i was sick throughout the whole weekend, and in the bus, under the air-con it was worse. Halfway during the ride the bus conductor came and gave chicken rice to everyone and I didn't have the appetite so i put it away. The old couple next to me opened up theirs and i turned to look, the old lady smiled at me so i started a conversation. I told her the smell of the food was very heavy and she told me not to eat the chicken cuz i was sick. So i told her i intend not to and pointed at the pack of chicken rice in my bag. That short friendly conversation was all we had. And when the bus stopped by for a break she went down and i was still on the bus. When we returned she gave me a cup of corn and said."you didn't eat anything earlier, you must be hungry. Nah, its okay to eat corn even through ure sick"
Ahhh, so sweet and kind of her :D A very rare act of kindness from a random stranger that i don't even know touched me. And made my day. so this post is dedicated to remembering that acts of kindness, no matter how small or insignificant you think it may be.. it might just touch and change the life of the person receiving it. thanks aunty!
